The mission of McCracken's Pet Food & Supply is to meet the multiple needs of our customers by providing quality animal feed, pet foods and supplies that also reflect a good dollar value (what are you getting for the dollar you are spending). We match that with prompt and knowledgable service and personel. We strive to bring you the products that will meet the needs of your pets, to create the long term health and fitness of your animal family members.
Company History
| 1946 |
McCracken's Feed Mill was founded by O. Kenneth McCracken in Manheim, PA. on Charlotte St. The mill was originally called O.K. McCracken Feeds. Son, Peter B. McCracken was included as business partner after his tour of duty in the Navy.

At the sudden passing of O. Kenneth, Peter took over as full partner with his mother Evelyn. |
| 1974 |
Evelyn and Peter formed a corporation, and the name was changed to McCracken's Feed Mill Inc. |
| 1980 |
Peter's brother David took over Evelyn's shares of her stock to become partners with Peter. |
| 1981 |
J. Nevin Gish was hired to oversee all dairy, horse and hog feed nutrition and sales. |
| 1983 |
David McCracken sold his shares back to the corporation. |
| 1984 |
J. Nevin Gish bought the shares of stock to become Peter's partner in the corporation. Poultry being a main focus of the business up to this time, Nevin now expanded the dairy, horse and hog business. |

1991
|
Peter and Nevin purchased property at 308 E. Main Street in Mountville, PA to open up the retail business for farm feeds and include pet food and supplies. Jim Bair was hired to run and manage the Mountville store. Jim was owner and operator of Bair's Mill in Wrightsville, PA. Jim has over thirty years of experience in the farm, pet food and retail business. |

1996
|
With the success of the retail stores, Peter and Nevin purchased the property at 700 North Market Street in Elizabethtown, PA to again expand the retail store. |

2004
|
J. Nevin Gish retires and a portion of his stock is purchased by Michael McCracken, Peter's son. Mike has been working for the mill since 1981 and now manages all mill operations. McCracken's Pet Food and Supply is now a division of McCracken's Feed Mill Inc., a family owned company since 1946. |
